• Think about the purpose of your portrait session and feel free to bring along anything meaningful, such as items related to a hobby, sport, profession, or personal passion.
• Choose clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Neutral colors and timeless styles photograph beautifully, but most importantly, wear something that feels like you.
• If you would like a variety of looks, you are welcome to bring a few outfit options. We can discuss what works best for the style of portraits you would like.
• Make sure your clothes are clean and ready before the session to help you feel relaxed and prepared.
• Style your hair and makeup in a way that feels natural and comfortable for you. The goal is for your portraits to reflect your personality and help you feel confident in front of the camera.
• Get a good night’s sleep before your session and stay hydrated. Feeling rested will help you look and feel your best.
• Most importantly, come as you are and try not to worry about posing. I will guide you throughout the session to help you feel comfortable and create natural, authentic portraits.
